Plaster and render bead. Used where a neat drip or ‘bell-end’ lower edge is needed on external render. Fixed by mortar dabs or masonry nails. Although this is for external use we would generally recommend Stainless Steel or PVC-u for this application only using this product in sheltered or low rainfall areas.

The 53mm mesh wings allow for a good render key and resistance to cracking. Fixed by plaster or mortar dabs, grab adhesive or galvanised nails/screws with washer at maximum 600mm centres. Although this is for external use, we would generally recommend stainless or PVC-u for this application in the UK only using this product in sheltered or low rainfall areas.
Beads can be cut to size as required using tin-snips and/or a hacksaw. The large diamond of the expanded metal wings provide a suitable key to prevent cracking. Avoid damage to bead and coating when trowelling.
