Locusrite Expands Manufacturing Facility with Major Capacity Increase
Locusrite is proud to announce the successful expansion of its manufacturing operations into the neighbouring premises, increasing the company’s overall footprint from 23,000 sq ft to an impressive 35,000 sq ft.
The additional 12,000 sq ft of production and warehousing space represents a significant investment in the future of the business and reinforces Locusrite’s commitment to delivering high-quality products, excellent service levels and reliable supply to customers across the UK.
As part of the expansion, the new facility has been fully fitted out with five additional production lines, all of which are now fully commissioned and operating at full capacity. The new lines have been dedicated to two of Locusrite’s best-selling drylining products: three additional GPTCB Galvanised Perforated Thin Coat Bead lines and two additional GMMB Galvanised Mini Mesh Bead lines.
The investment significantly increases manufacturing output, enabling Locusrite to produce larger volumes of product more efficiently and respond more quickly to growing market demand.
Alongside the increase in production capacity, the expansion has created substantial additional warehouse space, allowing the business to hold higher stock levels across key product ranges. This increased stockholding will help improve product availability and reduce lead times, ensuring customers receive the products they need, when they need them.
